Good software starts with a problem.
Software is not an end in itself. Most of the time, it starts with a simple question:
Why is this so complicated?
Sometimes it is a problem I have myself. Sometimes it comes from talking to someone who has had to adapt their daily work to software that does not quite fit.
So I look closer.
What is missing? What is unnecessarily complicated? What could work better?
And eventually, a question turns into a solution.
The foundation has to be right. It should be solid, clear and built to grow. Everything else can be added step by step, where it is actually needed.
That is how my projects come to life: through everyday problems, conversations and the desire to make things work a little better.
