Privacy policy

This website is hosted by netcup GmbH, Daimlerstraße 25, 76185 Karlsruhe, Germany. When you open a page, your browser transmits technically necessary data that the server records in log files: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the volume of data transferred, and your browser and operating system. Without this data the page cannot be delivered; beyond that it serves the security and stability of the server. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in reliable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted after a short time. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with netcup.

The Raleway and Plus Jakarta Sans typefaces are stored on this server and served from it — no connection is made to Google Fonts. Beyond that, this site loads nothing at all from third-party servers: no analytics, no maps, no social media buttons, no embedded third-party content. Your IP address therefore goes to no one but the host.

No analytics or advertising cookies are set, and there is no tracking. A single cookie named “tr_lang” stores your choice of language so the site appears in the language you last chose. It is necessary for the service you requested and therefore requires no consent (§ 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021); the processing rests on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

If you use the form, your name, your email address and your message are sent to me by email. I process them solely in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns entering into a contract, otherwise my legitimate interest in answering it (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The message is delivered by my provider's mail server acting on my behalf. Nothing is passed on to any other third party. No database is created — your message sits in my mailbox.

Server logs are deleted after a short time. I keep your enquiry for as long as it takes to deal with it and any follow-up questions, then delete it. If it turns into an engagement, the seven-year retention periods under Austrian tax and commercial law apply (§ 132 BAO); deletion then follows once those expire.

You have the right to access the data held about you, and to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing based on a legitimate interest. Any consent you have given can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. Just send me an email.

This site is served over HTTPS only. Whatever you send — your form, for instance — is encrypted in transit and cannot be read by third parties.
